Dear Colleagues,
In May, 2003 the laser technology experts from 14 countries met at vil. Katsively, Black Sea coast, Crimea, Ukraine for the International Conference on Laser Technologies in Welding and Material Processing (LTWMP). That was the 1st international meeting of laser community conducted in Ukraine in post soviet time.
The 2nd International Conference LTWMP-05 took place at Katsively again in May 2005. The experts from 19 different countries had sent the materials on their latest results at this professional laser technology meeting. Thus, this Conference became traditional for laser community. Both events were a success. Not only the high quality of the papers, but sincere and friendly atmosphere, as well as the unique nature of Crimea helped the participants to gain the bright impressions of those events.
The 3rd International Conference LTWMP-07 will continue this new tradition and will be held in Katsively, Black Sea Coast, Crimea, Ukraine again in May-June, 2007.
So, it is our great pleasure to invite you to take part in the Third International Conference on Laser Technologies in Welding and Material Processing - LTWMP- 2007.
The E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Laser Technology Research Institute of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute" have the honor to be the chief organizers of the Conference.
Alongside with established topics we would like to make the accent on rapidly developing new laser applications like those for medical and biological instrumentation, micro and nanoprocessing, etc.
We expect to see at this meeting even wider presentation of different research schools and developers from many countries. We believe that all the participants will use the opportunity for the exchange of new ideas and achievements and will have a pleasant chance to meet the old friends and colleagues and to discuss the problems of even wider future industrial laser applications.
On behalf of Scientific Committee we would like to express the hope that you will take part in our meeting and will enjoy the communication with laser technology colleagues from all over the world.
